Late April –I believe we are still on schedule to be ready for final by the end of May.  I have taken the next 3 weeks off work to finish up

As of 04/30/08 – As of Wednesday, April 30, 2008, the solar panels have been installed and we are generating electricity. The interior walls including the garage are up, textured and painted, except for the back hallway (I ran out of paint on Monday!). J I will finish up on Friday .  I had a bit of trouble with the original drywall team, but nothing that could not be fixed by simply firing them and getting someone else to finish the job.  They were let go on a Saturday and a replacement was working on Monday!

The cabinets are in and they look great!  INTERIOR WOOD DESIGN of Auburn did a phenomenal job!  Casey Wallen of WALLEN’S DRYWALL came in and fixed the mess the first drywall team made and he almost got us back on schedule.  Peter Kronberger of KRONBERGER ENTERPRISES (AUBURN) did the stucco and it looks great too!.  The granite countertops have been measured and they are almost done.  Final electrical will be done by Tuesday, Wednesday at the latest.

The tile will be delivered on Tuesday and we will start tiling.  The final grading will begin in a week or so followed by the asphalt of the driveway and the concrete or pavers being laid for the apron.  I’M STARTING A NEW BUSINESS AS A CONSULTANT FOR OWNER BUILDERS WANTING TO BUILD GREEN.  Might as well pass on all I have learned!
